Ulefoss samfunnshus

Description

Ulefoss Samfunnshus is a vibrant cultural center in the heart of Ulefoss, close to the bus terminal, Ulefossenteret and Ulefoss Idrettspark. Built in 1979 as a cinema and cultural center with a restaurant, it has since been expanded with Ulefosshallen in 1995 and Nome Library in 2018.

Facilities:

• The main hall:Large stage with 235 seats in the amphitheater.

• The joy:Assembly room for various events.

• Ulefoss Hall:Sports hall and multi-purpose hall, upgraded in 1995.

• The pulse:Vestibule with kiosk and ticket sales.

• The music bin:Rehearsal room for bands.

• Library:Department with valet opening hours and extended hours.

Activities:

The house is home to several regular activities and events:

• Nome Kino:Regular film screenings in the Main Hall.

• Ung i Name:Youth club with various activities.

• Ulefoss Music Band:Rehearsals and concerts.

• Ulefoss Sports Association:Gymnastics and handball training in Ulefosshallen.

• Smurf disco:Dance evenings for children.
  

In addition, the annual Fensdagene, UKM, Nome Cultural School's Christmas performance, school band festival, Advent concerts and Ulefoss Storband's musical Christmas party are held.

Serving:

Vertshuset Ulefoss offers Chinese and Norwegian food and is known for its good take-away pizza.
