Description

This beautiful hiking trail was officially opened inapril 2018and has since been a popular destination for hikers. Along the path you will findgood parking facilitiesandclear markingthroughout the trail. Information boards give you exciting insights into the history of the area, including an area where aforest fire caused by lightningonce ravaged.

Tour description

🥾 starting point:Follow the forest road for 100 meters before turning off at the marked point on the left.
⛰️ Ascent:Smooth and comfortable climb to the ridge, where you walk throughbeautiful, open forest.
🌄 Viewpoints:It is recommended to take detours to enjoy the views.
🌲 Descent to Åsland:Follow a clearly marked trail through a logging area and further along a forest road.
💦 Return trip:The stretch from Åsland to the parking lot can be a bit wet and muddy – remember to wear good shoes!

History and information

🏡 Åsland was inhabited until the 1980s., and the information boards at the square give you an insight into the history.

🕒 Time usage:The round trip takes approx.1 hour and 30 minutes, perfect for a family trip!
